My name is Byron Lee Wade. I read primarily on Amazon Kindle and like to read and write historical fiction and literary fiction. Also like American Westerns.
I'm a retired business lawyer (former Fortune 500 General Counsel) and have spent much of my life as a wordsmith writing legal documents, business descriptions / plans and securities law filings. Really nice to turn to fiction in retirement.
I've written a 326 page historical novel, but not listing here until I get a few feed back reviews from readers (just published).
I live in Houston, Texas, USA but was born and raised in Utah.
I feature myself a light-weigh Anglophile - never been to London but fascinated by history there. Love British and Australian movies - few special effects, real plots and character developments not as concerned about immediately setting the "hook."

Actually like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens . . . do not like
Twilight (or anything ridiculous like vampire). Unlikely to like fantasy or sci-fi (O.K. I did read and like
The Hunger Games dystopia - - - but an exception to the rule).
Anyway . . . there are lots of reader's sites on the web these days, but I like the layout and attitude of this one. Hope to be around awhile. See ya !
