It depends upon the software or ereader that you you. I would suggest searching these forums using something like "
software or ereader name return library book" to see what pops up. Of course, replace the italicized part with the software or ereader that you're using (e.g. Adobe Digital Editions, OverDrive, Sony).
To my knowledge, you don't actually return the book through the library's website.
