I do not want or need the 3G/4G electronics. One more data plan to pay for? No thanks! Wifi is wide-spread enough for me.
I'm split on the camera. Front-facing is handy for video calls but I don't really need it. OTOH, the idea of facial recognition security is attractive (don't care if it can be faked by a photo, thinking of just if I lose it). In my fantasy/perfect tablet I suppose I'd like a camera on a pivoting rail (can aim front or back) for maximum flexibility.
Handwriting recognition and a pen-friendly OS are big deals to me.
Needs to be uber-rugged. I want to be able to drop it without damage. Along the same lines, no cheap switches. I've had mechanical switches and slides all go bad on electronics that I use for years.
