Given the disappointed comments about the Nexus 7's lack of SD card slot, I'm curious to see what most folks would like to see in their ideal tablet (that's still within the limits of today's technology).
Mine would be:
Portable
- 7" Super IPS+ LCD (I dislike AMOLED)
- 1280x800 or higher resolution
- dual-core Cortex A9 or faster
- 1GB or more RAM
- 3G/LTE + WiFi
- SD card slot
- front-facing camera (optional)
- Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean
- handwriting recognition
- 10-hour minimum battery life continuous use, at least 1-week standby
- 250g (same weight as PRS-350)
- $250 or lower price tag
Couch surfer
- basically the Asus Transformer Infinity with Jelly Bean and some weight loss
