I would go with the keyboard model. I have a nook simple touch and love it. But I returned my kindle touch due to inadvertent chapter skips. It was way aggravating to tap for page turn and it jumps to the next chapter. Back paging to find where you left off really annoyed me. I never had the problem with my nook simple touch.

I returned the kindle touch. Still read on my keyboard and DX.
