Thank you all for your insightful input. Guess I'm glad I kept walking then as it doesn't sound like a good deal after all. Maybe if I ever see it for way cheaper I'd grab it, but I'm very happy with my T1 and the sight of such an 'old' reader just made me very curious! For me it would also depend on what, if any, new reader Sony comes out with this year.
