[QUOTE=BlueSky77;2126074]I borrow library books all the time in Kindle format and have never had to connect my Kindle Touch to my computer via usb. They download through amazon.com and are added to my library on my Kindle Touch through whispernet (either wifi or 3g).
It's possible that I've yet to borrow a Penguin book but all of the books that I've checked out from my library deliver wirelessly and do not need to be sideloaded.

I also borrow library books all the time on my Kindle 4 and Touch. Twice I was required to use a USB for download (as required by the publisher). Perhaps they were Penguin books.
