You don't seem to get my point. The CD doesn't do the sampling. There is just that standard that is saying that the music on a CD has been recorded with a sampling rate of 44100 Hz. The rate was chosen because it is the minimum necessary to recover the 20 kHz analog signal.

The people supporting this theory consider our universe to be the output of a simulated reality. I was talking about actual reality being analog.
