And since the OP has a Fire, they probably already knew this as well. It was you blanket denial for library books I responded to.
Unless they have changed thing in the last couple of months, with Penguin books you need to
initiate transfer via USB (you don't actually have to download the file), and then it shows up in the archive on kindles&apps, and can only then be downloaded via the device.
