Actually reading a more complex pdf as well with lots of pics etc and its bigger than a paperback. With prs+, the 650 is doing well. I'm not sure if the T1 has comparable functionality to 650 w/ prs+.
My experience with simple (meaning, text only) pdfs on the T1 was very mixed, to the extent where I did not want to really on it as a pdf reader. I love my T1 and think it's great for recreational books, but for my work related pdfs it's not reliable enough. Here's what happened to my pdfs:
