Exhibition on books that shaped America

"The Library of Congress, the world’s largest repository of knowledge and information, began a multiyear “Celebration of the Book” with an exhibition on 'Books That Shaped America.' "

As in any such list, some books one might not expect are included (Cookbooks?) and some are missing that one would expect to find. But still, anything that celebrates books can't be all bad!
