My ring is irreplaceable. My phone is replaceable. I keep it backed up enough that if I had to get a new phone and restore the content, I would not have lost that much. Plus, we do have a spare iPhone 3G I could use if need be. Sure, I'd be annoyed and pissed to have lost my phone. But I would be more so should it be my wedding ring.
