If you know how, you could always convert your Kindle books to work on a Nook (or the other way around) - there are probably guides on the internet you could find by searching.

I personally prefer my NST to Kindles that I've used in the past, but I'm not sure I would bother keeping two ereaders around unless I was sharing one with someone.
