Thank you for the explanation, that makes sense. From now on I will be leaving it in sleep mode.
And I just want to say again, how much FASTER the T1 is compared to KoboTouch! It's just amazing.
After more use, I think the only thing I really miss is the clock available during reading. [Busy Mom who loses all track of time when reading = 'disaster'

], and at times the dreaded 'shiny bezel'
is distracting. Those 2 fixes alone would make me look at a new Sony ereader down the road.
