Hello all,

My name is Jim and I am in Houston, TX.
I am new to the mobile reading world and to the ebook world, but I do use a laptop computer all the time and have not touched a desktop computer in almost two years.
I am using a Kindle for pc on my laptop to get used to what ebooks look like because I just wrote a couple of books.
I have not made the plunge to purchase a real mobile reading device yet. My cell phone is a very old model and not a device you can read books on like an ipad or Kindle. Have not decided exactly what device I am going to get yet. I have some friends with Ipads and I am very impressed with how ebooks look on those devices.
I look forward to getting involved in this. I like the fact that there are people on here from all over the world.
