I neither know nor care how my car works - all I know is which hole to put the petrol in
. A car is just a tool - I don't
want to have to understand how it works in order to use it. I really don't see why computers should be any different if they are supposed to be "mature" products.
As it happens, I do know quite a lot about computers - I am a programmer. However, you're not going to sell the things to people like my parents until they
are like cars - just "buy it and use it" and not have to worry about knowing how it works.
