Cropping is not the same as reflow. Cropping means removing the margins, or other areas of the page that don't interest you.
Honestly, we're telling you the truth here. Trying to read a PDF formatted for an A4 page on a 6" device is an exercise in frustration, especially (I'd imagine) for a language like Japanese where you need to be able to clearly see the fine details of the kanji characters.
