Those comparisons are bogus. Most countries track their students and the only ones who take those tests are the college prep kids. In the US every child takes those tests. So the US scores include kids in resource support, ESL, and other similar programs while the Asian countries and most European countries are testing only the kids going to college. Meaning that their scores are inflated.
