I really loath this approach - in fact on a par with idiots cold-calling for glazing/persona accident claims/surveys, etc....
As I've said before, I don't mind the usual "inside cover "trailer" but a sample is as I said above, plus it ruins the start of a story I might want to read.

A brief description is all I want.
