To do this right takes a lot of work.
The OP has not acknowledged any of this yet. This is what it takes to convert a PDF > ePub. It's going to be more then just 5 hours applying styles. Also, given that the OP doesn't really know what he is doing, it may take more then 5 hours just applying styles not including the A/B comparing that must be done to do this correctly.
