Sony PRS-T1: SD card affects battery life?

Hello.

It makes sense that the added card will require more power, and that further power will be spent by the PDU indexing a large set of files on the card.

I just bought a T1 to replace my broken 650 (who knew dropping repeatedly is bad?), and am wondering if I should buy a card or not. I'd like to have the added capacity, but not if the battery life tanks.

For those of you with T1s and SD cards - have you noticed a large difference in battery performance?

thanks,
Andrew
