Sorry I'm late getting back, but I continue to have problems.

It seems to be a matter of random chance whether I see the ebook and the memory card when I connect the reader to my computer, and quite often the mobile reader I have on my computer (an IBM Thinkpad) locks up when the Cybook is attached to the computer. I have to go to the task manager to close it down.

I tried last night after I took the memory card out, and everything worked well. I wonder whether I have a bad memory card or messed it up in the initial panic.

I've not seen memory cards like that before. Are they readily available from computer stores or camera stores? The only way to be sure whether it is the memory card causing problems I suppose is to try again with the card installed and try again with a new card.

Regards, Alex
