I recently got a KF for my daugher. Had the same issues. Finally, deregistered it from my account and registered it to her account (I know her password). Then gave her a gift card to make up for not being able to see the books on my account. But I would be embarassed to have my MIL see 50 shades or Lori Foster. And I certainly don't want Sydney to see them!
If you use Calibre and some plug ins, you can simply download the books to your computer, and send them to any kindle. I only feel comfortable sending them to my kindle, but that is up to you.
