£4.79 is not an unreasonable price for an eBook, in my view. The standard price for a paperback in the UK is £7.99. I should add that I've actually bought all 11 of the eBooks which are currently available.

ETA: You can also buy an eBook omnibus of the first four books in the series for £6.71, which is pretty good value, I think.
