That's true of course.

But it is my main reason for not wanting to own a Touch or a Fire.

Kindle Collections works well with the Keyboard and the Basic models. For some reason, Amazon have blocked access to the necessary interface to allow it for function for a Touch or a Fire. That is a disappointment for a number of users.
