Aw! Sometimes it's so hard to win at these things, no matter how hard you research or wait for sales. There's always going to be a kicker. I guess the sage advice is to go with the platform that works with your phone. My brother bought a Playbook and it syncs with his Blackberry. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that the apps I use on my Android phone could be used with the Tab.
I used to use Aldiko before I bought a Kobo. I had bought the premium version when it came out and sadly my phone is so "ancient" that it always crashed. The developers couldn't help me...works like a charm on the Tab!
