Hi again Cdesja5, well, I was totally sold :-) We went to Future Shop last night and picked up a 7" Tab. Loving it already. It's just right for me.
I actually write my notes the old fashioned way - paper! It used to be back in the day everyone ducked out at break time for a smoke or a coffee, now they all run to find an electrical outlet!
Despite being a mature student, I'm still a poor student. I don't qualify for this or that because I'm too old, married and have a house. Ah well. I think the Tab will indeed be better in the long run. Thanks again!
Harry, thanks for the laptop suggestion. The one that died was a 17" laptop. What a workhorse it was! But I would just really like something small that I can put in my purse or my bag :-) I looked at Memory Express and I just can't shell out the extra $$ for a laptop.
