The way I look at it, at best I read about a book a week. When I get up to around 100, I figure that's about 2 years worth of reading, so I take off the ones I know I won't get to anytime soon. There are a few I always leave on, but they're books I like to re-read.

It also helps to keep my collection under control. When I got my first ereader, I was downloading every freebie that I thought was even remotely interesting. After about 6 months, I figured I had about 7 or 8 years worth of reading, so I stopped. I still hit the freebies, but only if I'm sure it's something I really want to read. 2 years ago. my collection was around 350 ebooks. Right now it's at 480, and I've read about 75% of them.
