The way I hold it when entering text, the front buttons are pressed with thumbs, and the side buttons with index fingers. Quite easy with a little practice (see the chording keyboard description above).

I bought a "Twiddler" back in the early MIT "wearable computing" days. I was pretty fast with it. Because it was a one-handed keyboard, I got teased a lot about it being useful for surfing porn.
I think that using the K4 as a chording keyboard could be MUCH faster than an onscreen keyboard with the 5-way to select characters. But I plan to make my touchscreen keyboard work with the K4 5-way for people who prefer that.
BTW, I plan to make an (pseudo) /proc event-device for my keyboard to output to, with selectable keycodes, so it can easily integrate into exisiting K3 and DX native-mode programs (when it runs in the background)... I suppose that I should resume that when I get some time in about 5 weeks... If you guys want to use my ideas, go ahead...
