Very random. As I guess it is for me and most. How does 'buzz' influence you? Are there professional critics and reviewers you actually trust?

Books could use something like the Music Genome Project. It does a very good job of introducing me to new artists (or at least new to me).

Amazon and B&N use something like it ( "Customer who bought this also bought..." ) but that always seems to miss the mark for me.
