Once I find myself getting close to the end of whatever book/books I'm reading, I'll go check Amazon and see the "Users who bought this also took a look at..." lists and poke around.
And, if all else fails, there's a site I go on that has a GREAT recommendations sub-forum. I forget what it is, though. I have it bookmarked somewhere.
