I did not notice any degradation of text after doing the update to 1.1.2. I do notice that sometimes the text gets kind of ragged looking, but it seems inconsistent - I mean I don't see it in any predictable pattern (like say after the 3rd screen after a refresh). And it has always been that way, as far as I can tell. Sorry.
