It might require slightly more light to read eInk, but for me that's offset by all the possibilities eInk offers over paper which frostschutz touched on.

For me the advantages of eInk are: weight, size, variable fonts and font sizes, built-in dictionary, and the ability to carry an entire library in less space than a paperback.
