Another one for the adventurous. Debut self pubbed title (part one of four). Interestingly, one of the writers says in the intro that he doesn't claim to be a writer. Sample seems ok but the description reads like a video game.

Quote:
When Alexandra Beaumont awakens three months after her murder, she is thrown into a deadly biblical game where there can only be one winner. Alex is told by her guide to return to her quarantined city of Blackwater where she must hunt down and destroy the five demonic Fallen Judges - if just one still stands when the sun rises, the Fallen win and Hell will descend upon the Earth, wiping it clean of life as we know it.
But there's a catch - before she returned, a mystery virus hit the three million residents of Blackwater, they still walk the streets, but not as she remembers. As the game begins, Alex must not only find the judges, but she also has to unravel the mystery of her people's demise, her fathers Corporation's involvement and reveal the city's darkest secrets as the three worlds of the Living, the dead and the Fallen, all collide in chaos. As Alex struggles to come to terms with her own death, she wanders the war-torn streets of the dead trying to put together the unfortunate events that have forsaken her people.
The haunted streets of Blackwater lay in ruin, the buildings are strangled with rusted scaffolding, concrete has been turned into metal and the dead litter the streets; decorating the walls as the world of the Fallen chokes the unfortunate city - as Alex searches for her Fallen targets, she wanders and fights her way through the industrial nightmare, learning the abilities and the ways of the Fallen as she goes, struggling with her own fraying sanity.
