Some manufacturers have done this to various degrees, but Amazon continues to think we are happy with the three original fonts. And one more gripe, what is up with all these different interfaces? I understand that eInk models are physically different from one another and that they have a different OS than the Fire, but geez each one is way too unique. Amazon should pull their head out of their corporate fat a$$ and at least try to make the interfaces and feature sets for the K4, K5, K6, and various OS apps similar. And get Whispersync working like it was promised it would a long time ago!

I don't know it's not that bad. Amazon likes to control the user experience, if they start allowing a bunch more fonts or user configurable fonts there's tons of new issues with customers complaining books aren't formatted properly or displaying differently etc. I look at it this way, when I purchase an actual book be it hardcover or paperback I can't control the font in the book. The Kindle for me is very readable and has good fonts. There are plenty of other eReaders so why stay frustrated with Amazon? Just switch to something more configurable.
