The things I like about the K3 (keyboard) are the page-turn buttons, the amount of stuff it holds, the ability to organize things, having a few MP3s along, and being able to browse the Web anywhere via 3G. I don't think you can get all of those things on any of the "current" Kindles.
I also use a lot of other digital devices, and have Kindle reading applications on many of them. As a result, I read on a 10" tablet (lighted, touchscreen), a smartphone (ditto), on my laptop, etc. Having a backlit screen is nice, sometimes, though I don't see having a touchscreen as a particular benefit for reading, as I can manage the K3 with one hand.
