as an alternative if you're in a hurry and want to d/l ffn's stories you can use:

Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...rom=getfirefox
Greasemonkey: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../greasemonkey/
and
ffn Story Export: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/33325

I used to use this before gettin the FFD plugin and it's been updated to match the new code. Not as good as FFD but better than nothing.

The script MAY also work in Chrome as it's supposed to have built in support for GM scripting but I can't guarantee that 1 ....
