To initially set up collections on a new Kindle is really easy. If you don't want to take the time to set them up on the Kindle itself, you can use K4PC in Windows and set them up that way. Then simply import them. You have to load all the books of course. I owned the PRS-505, 300, 350, 600, 900, and 950. Trust me, managing collections on a Kindle is a much better experience than the one provided by Sony.
Actually, I have to disagree. Managing collections on a Sony Reader is very easy. Sony's software allows you to manage collections very easily. Then all you do is drag and drop. Plus, Calibre does is when you transfer your eBooks to the Sony. Not so on a Kindle Touch. It is not nearly as easy. You cannot have the collections managed on send.
