Alas it was both.
They 'recovered' the cost of storage (after failing to get a response from me at my old address) and yes, sold everything.
Had close to 1000 books I think. 6 bookcases. 6 shelves. 25-30 books per shelf. sounds about right. Before I moved I had it set up in a spare room with a sofa bed. So the room did triple duty as computer room/library/guest room.... though the guest was a bit of a squeeze.
B***R. just spotted my typo from earlier. Meant 'miles' series (as in Vorkosigan)... not 'mike' - lol
