I am not quite sure how you are using that term: "multi-tasking" - - -
From context, I think you mean how the term is being used in the human sense, about human activities.

is a true, multi-task, (concurrent) multi-user system.
Do you have SSH access installed?
If so, just keep bringing up terminals and connecting to the Kindle, see how many user sessions you can get before it runs out of memory.
Ah, but that multi-tasking isn't exposed to the user in the sense of having multiple, on-screen, activites happening.
