What a great find this forum. I am a compulsive reader. The best gadget I ever bought was my Kindle. Living in Rural Spain good second hand books are very rare. I was spending too much money buying books, now I already have a lifetimes worth, yet still download more. I should get a commision off Amazon I have introduced many of the villagers to the Kindle and they are now buying/saving up to buy. The older generation just pop round now and then for me to remove/get books onto their Kindles. So owning a Kindle is nowhere near as antisocial as some depict.
I am a massive Sci fi fan and until owning a Kindle didn't know there were so many good SF writers. I will read almost anything, except "mushy romance".
