For me the Narrator has to be a voice actor or I just don't listen to it. It's like watching a movie but without the picture.
If the narrator is monotone or just reads the book then forget it. A Voice Actor reads and acts the parts out which makes for a great presentation.
I can't zone out when I got it booming in my ears. I can hear the narrator's voice and nothing else.
