I fully agree! My old standard was my BeBook One from 2008 that would read almost any format. The rooted Nook is even more flexible, and as you indicated, it has capability of using two (or more) different reading apps so that 2 or more books can be read by switching the reader app. I'd like to have gps capability but that's probably too much to ask of an e-ink reader.
