Database disk image is malformed
I've been happily running Calibre for a couple of months but today in fetching news (Guardian, recipe by Seabound and Sujata Raman) the fetch failed and I received this error message:
calibre, version 0.8.54
ERROR: Unhandled exception: DatabaseException:database disk image is malformed

I responded by uninstalling and reinstalling calibre, but that hasn't done the trick.
Can anyone help?
