Giving blood took about 5 minutes. However, before you have to fill in a questionaire and visit a doctor who asks more questions and takes your blood pressure and some other things. Then I had to wait for 5 minutes for a bed to free up and when it was my turn the doctor explained to me how it all worked. Afterwards I had to stay on the bed for a couple of minutes before I was allowed to go to the donor cafe for a drink and snack where you have to stay at least 15 minutes. All in all it took 45 minutes I think. I mostly took my Kindle for in the donor cafe.
