The King Raven Trilogy by Stephen R. Lawhead

I just bought The King Raven Trilogy from Kobo after reading the sample from Amazon. It's a 3-in-1 and I was able to use a discount code and got it half price.

My problem is that the sample from amazon and the beginning of the book from Kobo are completely different. The sample starts with the main character Bran, and the book from Kobo starts with someone named Quentin .

Has anyone else read these books? Could you please tell me which one is correct?
