It's not so much the naturalness or intuitiveness of that is my issue. With touch, the act of moving to the desired location and the act of "clicking" are one and the same.

With mouse/scratchpad interfaces the two acts are separate. One can move to a location and review their decision before "clicking", something a cautious and unsure user may find more reliable.
