Calibre Version: 0.8.53 messed me up Is there a way to undo this?

Before i updated to this everying was fine now its bugging me out alot.

i like reading from PDF format...i know alot of people dont but i do

From this version the cover page shows half the picture and the senstense that are on the end and the beginning of each page show half on each page or you cant even tell what the words are

Is there anyway i can undo do this or somewho fix it? Please help me.. Thanks in adanvced
