Sel is the slave of a heartless shopkeeper, Roshi, in a small oasis town in the middle of the desert. Treated horribly and without hope, Sel is intent on making a change when one day a mysterious woman enters Roshi's shop and tells Sel he is the last of the Magi, a secret sect of sorcerers, and he's the only one who can defeat an evil warlord, Alraun Braun, who is ravaging the country.
