If you mean the one I think you do, then I have it set to false, I rely on Windows 7 file versioning and my backup processes to get me back to earlier versions.

I have the origianl file set to true. Then I know what my starting point is. If I use tweak epub to remove a cover or some formatting then I delete the prior original_epub if it exists. For me the advantage of having the untampered with file immediately available outweighs the extra disk space etc.
